- Upgrade and integrate thirdparty Python packages resolving packaging compatibility build and automatedtest failures
Key Responsibilities
- Upgrade Python packages across supported runtime versions
- Resolve dependency API import packaging and test failures
- Update package metadata and internal build configuration
- Reconcile local patches and diagnose CIpresubmit failures
- Validate upgrades and maintain technical documentation
Required Skills
- Strong Python development and debugging pipPyPI wheels virtual environments and Python packaging pytest or equivalent testing frameworks
- Dependencyresolution and versioncompatibility experience
- Git Linux scripting CICD and log analysis
- Experience maintaining or integrating opensource packages
- Preferred setuptools Poetry native Cextension builds Bazel Copybara monorepos security remediation
