Key Responsibilities
- Administer monitor and maintain Oracle databases in production and nonproduction environments
- Perform database installation configuration patching upgrades backup and recovery activities
- Manage Oracle RAC ASM Data Guard RMAN and performance tuning initiatives
- Plan and execute database migration projects using Oracle Database Migration Service DMS Oracle GoldenGate Data Pump RMAN and related migration tools
- Assess source and target environments define migration strategies perform cutover planning and mitigate migration risks
- Troubleshoot migration issues validate data consistency and ensure minimal downtime during cutovers
- Implement HADR solutions and support business continuity requirements
- Maintain migration runbooks operational procedures and technical documentation
Required Skills
- Strong Oracle DBA administration experience
- Expertise in Oracle RAC ASM Data Guard RMAN OEM and SQL performance tuning
- Handson experience with Oracle DMS Database Migration Service and Oracle database migrations
- Experience with OCI Exadata ExaCC or cloud migration projects
- Knowledge of GoldenGate replication and zerominimal downtime migration strategies
- Strong troubleshooting scripting ShellSQLPLSQL and automation skills
- Experience supporting critical production environments
Preferred Skills
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure OCI certification
- Experience with crossplatform migrations and database modernization initiatives
- Exposure to AWS RDS for Oracle or Azure Oracle workloads
